Work package 4: Water Reuse
The concept for (waste) water reuse in case study areas (CSA) is defined in this work package.
Objectives
- Evaluation of legal/institutional framework for water reuse and reuse potential
- Environmental impact assessment of wastewater reuse in irrigated agriculture and reuse potential
- Identification and evaluation of opportunities for wastewater reuse in the industrial sector
- Identification and evaluation of opportunities for municipal wastewater reuse in the municipal sector
- Development of standard Water Reclamation and Reuse (WRR) schemes
- Socio-economic and environmental assessment of schemes for water reclamation and reuse in agriculture, municipalities and industry
